I received an email on November 14th from the HR team to ask for my availability to schedule the 1st call. I submitted my availability for the next 2 weeks but I did not hear back from the HR team. On November 25th, I received another email from the same HR team asking me to provide my availability. I clicked the link and entered my availability for the next 2 weeks. 4 days later, I received a calendar invite for the first interview with the HR team. The call was approximately 20 minutes to review my experiences, learned more about the role and salary expectation. A week after my 1st call with HR, I received another email for my availability to move forward with an interview with the team lead. The 2nd call with the team lead was scheduled for 1 hour, he introduced himself and gave me the history of Tipalti and how he ended up in his role. It was a refreshing to hear the life story and how he landed with the company. Then it was my turn to do the same and answered why did I pick Tipalti? During the call, the team lead mentioned I may be better off with the Account Executive position and asked if I am interested? I said yes and he said HR will reach out to me but heard nothing since the interview. 2 days leter, I received an email telling me they decided to go with another candidate.
