      Junior Database Developer Interview

      24 July 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Chicago, IL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at TmaxSoft (Chicago, IL)

      Interview

The first interview stage is a 1-hour phone interview, which was very skills-focused although it did include a more traditional question or two. The second stage is an in-person interview with the engineers that, based on the times I was offered, lasts from 1 PM to 4:30 PM. Sometime during that interview, a conference call is made with the company's CEO in South Korea as well, which can be considered the third stage of the process.

      Question 1

(Paraphrased from first stage) Can you tell us about a time you learned about a new technology you previously had no experience with?
