I was referred by a friend, and was supposed to have a Skype interview with the hiring manager, who turned out to be one of the cockiest people I've ever interacted with. The guy was really full of himself and left me hanging till eventually a woman contacted me. Her English was poor and she did not seem to have a clue what she was doing anyway. Btw, the interview was online, not in NYC, but Glassdoor hasn't learned about video calls yet.
