I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Toptal (New York, NY) in Apr 2020
Interview
Many interviews with many different professionals: HR, first technical interview, second technical interview with live coding, third technical interview with some team leader which you may be working with. Also in the live coding interview, they trick you by saying that you can ask them any questions code-related or you can google anything, but in the end, the interviewers use this against you in your feedback to HR.
In the end, I was just tired and not that much interested anymore due to so many bureaucracies and repeated interviews. The salary range compensation was not worthing all of this.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain what is a Boundary Value Analysis and Equivalence Partitioning and give a simple example?
I applied online. I interviewed at Toptal (Konya) in Jan 2022
Interview
The first HR interview was easy and compact with about 10 minutes.
Upon that interview, a test is sent via email.
After passing that test, a technical interview is scheduled. It is divided into 2 parts as it was stated in the email regarding that interview. First part was theoretical. There were some questions about testing in general and some details also. The second part was "live automation test". The interviewer opened an easy task and requested me to share my screen. Although the task was an easy one, the time was just 15 minutes. So finishing in time was a problem for me.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
The theoretical questions were about general testing rules. For instance "what will you do when your bug is rejected by developer?"
