Overall experience in terms of human interaction is positive. 1st Round - typical HR round, explaining the process, the company and my expectation. 2nd Round - Technical C++ interview. Lots of practical day to day development questions. 1 code snippet to review. Another code snippet to enhance and add new functionality. This round was much practical in terms of the day to day dev job needs. 3rd Round - A difficult category C++ coding test, with elements from graph theory, algorithm, STL containers, modern C++. 4th Round - Typical manager/behaviorial round. Quetions about my previous projects, challenges, strenght and weaknesses etc. Eventually declined offer, but the interview process is too grilling for the salary that Torstone offers. Why would someone who can pass such interviews not work with companies/banks that can offer 30% more easily without negotiation. Time to be practical, Torstone.
