Applied online and had an initial screening call with the HR Manager. During the call, I was told they wanted to move forward with scheduling an interview with the hiring manager and that I should expect to hear back within the next couple of days to set it up. After not hearing anything, I followed up by email after one week and again after two weeks, but did not receive a response. It has now been about a month since the screening call with no communication or update on the status of the role.
I understand that hiring priorities can change, but a brief update or follow-up would have been appreciated. Clearer communication throughout the process would make the experience feel more professional and respectful for candidates.
