I received a text, an email, and a call from a very young girl congratulating me on an interview. I went to the interview at the Malden office location in February. Before the interview I saw inconsistencies in their online presence, website, and social media. When I arrived I was told to wait while other candidates arrived and sat next to me with pop music blasting. One candidate upon arrival asked the receptionist about interviewing for another company name, and she told him to take a seat. I thought that was fishy, so I looked into it online and found they were the same company with the same addresses and the same people. I came back in for another interview and talked to an employee who was nice and gave me a piece of paper showing me a pyramid scheme of how to company worked and the progression. The incentives were iPhones and tech... no PTO, no 401k nothing normally offered was discussed. Everyone there was under the age of 30 which also made me ask questions. When I was offered the job (which was basically a sales role, not the one I applied for) I went with my instincts and turned it down because I felt like there was something odd going on internally. Warning to anyone looking into this company, I wouldn't advise it if you're looking to really start your career with an established company. The CEO was very charismatic and friendly, but I think that's how he mainly draws employees into the company. The application to offer stage lasted two weeks.
