      Receiving Associate Interview

      29 June 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us in July 2011

      Interview

They most always do group interviews, they will take you into the break/training room and have you split into teams and build something with blocks together. This is to show you are able to work in a team environment. They will also have volunteers choose a product and to try and sell the product to the rest of the group. This will really help your chances if you at least make the attempt. They then take you up one at a time to the personnel office where you will speak with a member of management. They will ask you about your availability, skills, references and previous experience and how you can apply it to this job. If you show some kind of interest and don't go in their just expecting to be handed a job you should do very well.
