She explained that the interview would consist of three phases, and during one of them she would ask me technical questions. Those questions made me feel a bit uncomfortable; instead of encouraging me to better understand what she meant, I honestly didn’t even expect to be subjected to this kind of questioning for an internship. A few days later, I was assigned a case study, which I completed within the deadline. I was told I hadn’t been accepted without even an explanation of what went wrong—even though I was sure I’d done a good job—so I sent an email asking for at least some feedback on my work, but nothing came back; they completely disappeared.
