Recruiter was kind and straightforward. Took notes on my job experience and asked common interview questions. The story took a turn once I met the hiring manager. I was asked to do a case study for the third stage and the hiring manager requested a complete social media audit and a detailed communications concept for lead-gen strategy. This is called free work and companies like Tradeybye haven’t caught on to ethical forms of case studies that either pay individuals or use scenarios in the tasks that employer’s can’t directly benefit from. After submitting my case study the hiring manager rejected my application all together without a chance to present my work. Disrespectful, disappointing and unprofessional. Do better.
