I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Trader Joe's
Interview
Everyone was really friendly and engaging with my responses to their questions. They will briefly interview you on the spot when you apply, so come prepared knowing why you want to work for Trader Joe's. If they are interested in you, they will give you an additional interview, which they'll probably call you to schedule. After that interview, which will be with a mate, they will interview you with the captain to see if they think you're a good fit for the team. The interview process is very easygoing, but you should by no means not take it seriously. They want you to work with them, so don't think they're grilling you with their questions. They just want to see you answer with a positive disposition.
The interview process was absolutely wonderful! I didn't feel stressed or nervous and it felt like I was just chatting with a friend! Trader Joes is a great company and the interview was great.
Very chill, asked things a lot of job interviews don't, more personal down to earth questions. Made me feel very comfortable. Professional but also cool vibes from everyone who interviewed me. Went to one interview with mates and another with the captain.
I had 3 separate interviews. 1 was over the phone. 2 were in person. I never heard anything after the third interview. I called the store about a week later and they let me know they didn’t actually have any available positions. Really felt like they wasted my time.
