Submitted resume and cover letter via Glassdoor. Company responded within a few days, asking to schedule a Google Meet interview with Trakref.
Having several years experience in sales, a strong familiarity with computerized maintenance management, along with HVAC/R and compliance management software, I felt confident going in to the interview. The interviewer asked me to walk them through my resume, addressing my background in sales, including my achievements. We further discussed the company, and their strong presence in the HVAC/R and compliance market.
At about the 25 minute mark, the interviewer asked my availability for a 2nd interview; which would include speaking with additional sales management personnel. I felt our session was positive, I thanked them for the opportunity to meet, and that I was looking forward to the 2nd interview.
The interview ended on the 1/2 hour, and I was expecting another calendar invite by the end of the day Friday… no invitation was received that day, nor the following Monday; nor the “Tuesday” for when I was asked if I was available.
Yes, it was disappointing having not received additional communications from the company, given the reference to a 2nd interview and with whom I would be speaking. However, I enjoyed the interview opportunity and to talk about how the company is placed in the market.
