I applied online and received a call from the screener. An initial call was setup with the Head of Product the following week. My availabilities were limited, but nevertheless the Head of Product accommodated me by placing the call while travelling to a conference. During the initial call, I got the opportunity to presented myself and elaborate on my background and my professional experience; I also got the opportunity to find out more about the company and its product. I was selected for the next round and a meeting was scheduled promptly. Being an out of town applicant, I was given the option to video conference and received detailed instructions on what would happen during the next round. During the video call the interviewer sent me a test which I was to complete within an hour and was given the opportunity to present my answers right after submitting it. I was then called in for an in person interview to meet the team face to face and to learn about the inner workings of the company. During this session I got to learn the amazing, life saving work that this company does and the opportunities/challenges that lay ahead. Additionally I got the opportunity to demonstrate my PM skills by role playing a day on the job. Having met the the Product Team, I was further reassured that I definitely want to join this organization which highly values its employees, customers and other stakeholders such as applicants - me.
