I completed a lengthy interview process for an Android Developer position at Treatwell, and the experience was disappointing, primarily due to poor decision-making and lack of consideration for the candidate’s time. The process consisted of 5 interviews over 2 months, including: 2 management interviews. 2 technical interviews. 1 interview with a high-level executive (Owner, CTO, or similar). Additionally, there was an HR check before each interview, which made the whole process feel unnecessarily bureaucratic and time-consuming. After all this, I was rejected based on a single response that supposedly didn't meet expectations during one of the final interviews. Despite investing significant time and effort across multiple interviews, I was not given the opportunity to clarify or revisit the concern. The decision felt abrupt and lacking in fairness.
