I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at TribalScale (Toronto, ON) in June 2017
Interview
The HR representative for TribalScale was very unresponsive and very disorganized. I applied through a employee referral and had 3 rounds of interview (including an onsite interview). After the first round I waited about 1.5 weeks before sending a follow up email to the HR representative. I never got a response. I then asked my employee refferal to reach out to the HR representative and then all of a sudden I have a second round interview the next day! After completing the second round interview, I get no word for another 1.5 weeks. Once I reached out to my employee refferal to follow up again, I get a response for another round. This process repeated it self one more time for the final round.
Their HR representative is really dropping the ball and is most likely losing alot of top talent. If I did not have my employee refferal following up for me, I would have assumed they are not interested in me and moved on. This company needs to hire better HR representatives.

The interview process starts with a screening assignment, where they ask you about different competency questions. I did not get any feedback on my status and answers after I completed, contrary to what they had communicated.
Slightly different, I had my initial call with one of the Founder's of the company, which I thought was fantastic. My next interview was roughly an hour long phone interview, and the last interview was a follow up on site with a pairing interview that was also an hour long. Overall, there were some gaps in communications, but nothing serious as I always had a follow-up when I reached out. The pairing interview was enjoyable, and my takeaway throughout the process was that they have an excellent and capable team.
