I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at TridentCare (Bowie, MD) in Apr 2025
Interview
I recently interviewed with this company and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. Danielle, the manager who interviewed me, was friendly but did not present herself professionally, which was surprising given her role. After the interview, I sent a follow-up email to check on my status and never received a response from her. The lack of communication was unprofessional and frustrating.
Danielle wanted to be clear that they do take 30 minutes before your shift and after your shift if you have a take-home van/car. So when you leave your house in the company van with your x-ray equipment to go directly to job you will not get paid for the first 30min and 30 mins after your shift. This is not including your lunch.
Eventually, I received a text from the recruiter letting me know they decided to pass due to the hourly rate I requested—$40/hour—which is a fair and reasonable rate for a mobile technician. The company made no effort to negotiate or even have a conversation about pay expectations. It felt like they weren’t interested in valuing experience or opening the door for dialogue.
Overall, the communication and professionalism fell short. I expected more from a company seeking skilled technicians
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
what is your ideal shift?
You agreed to get back 30 minutes before and after your shift. So you will leave your house and not clock in until 30 minutes after you are in route to facility.
