There is a phone screen and then "audition" to teach SAT Math. There were two rounds of teachings and in the first round, they told me that I absolutely crushed it. In the second round during my audition, I was nervous and misspoke during my teaching. And the co-founder's face looked absolutely disgusted. I corrected myself as soon as I caught the mistake but he glared at me for the rest of my teaching demo which was totally uncalled for. The audition went over an entire hour and we left very late at night. I tried to follow up but they ghosted and never got back to me. Sure, this is just a part-time contract job but professional mannerism and respect should still apply.
