Question 1
What is your go to software for creating animation?
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Trinity Broadcasting Network in July 2023
Interview
I was first reached out to a creative recruiter that later connected me with the company. They had me go through 3 rounds total and had me complete an assessment. The assessment said to only spend an hour on it and had me create a motion graphics video along with a few social media posts.
I got to the final interview after receiving good feedback about my test. The interview ended up taking almost 2 hours! She essentially trained me and showed me how everything in the company worked in terms of organization, team members, etc. She even emailed me after and had me walk her through my portfolio and give detailed explanations of each project. I had to take the day off of work last minute just to be able to do this interview.
She said she loved what I did and after doing such an in depth process, I was feeling pretty confident about getting the job. A few days later the recruiter emailed me saying they were now going to be offering 10k less a year than what they originally had listed and asked if that was ok with me! I was extremely frustrated that I went through such a long process only to have the rug pulled under me like that. I told them I was expecting the original amount that they had told me through the interviewing process. They then moved on to another candidate without even letting me know directly. Definitely would not recommend this place.
