1 phone interview, 2 onsite interviews and 1 onsite paper testing. For onsite interviews, it seems like there is no questions pool. The hiring manager asked more related to your former project. And Paper testing focuses on logistic, common sense and data analysis.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
why you choose this position?
how to prioritize the project?
3 rounds of interview:
- Line manager: major in background understanding, working experience dicussion, work scope etc.
- Director of department: negotiation in personality, motivation and company culture
- HR: Motivation, salary, expected onboard date etc
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Trip.com Group (London, England) in June 2025
Interview
Pros:
One of the peers I spoke with was genuine, smart, and engaging.
Case study panel was structured reasonably well.
Cons:
Chaotic and unprofessional process: Initial recruiter call was followed by a month of silence, then sporadic re-engagement. After another promising step, I was ghosted again for weeks.
Gaslighting communication: When I followed up after being ignored for a month, the recruiter claimed they “must have missed my email” — an excuse that felt dismissive and unprofessional.
Lack of transparency: At no point were salary bands, expectations, or role scope clearly communicated. I never even spoke with the hiring manager, which left major gaps in context when preparing for the panel interview.
Time wasted: Multiple follow-ups went unanswered, leaving the process to drag out unnecessarily with no closure. It came across as disrespectful to candidates’ time.
