I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TrustLayer (San Francisco, CA) in July 2024
Interview
I'd describe my encounter with TrustLayer as Incredibly unprofessional. I received an email telling me I was a great fit and that they wanted me to create a five minute video demoing a feature I liked from another product of my choice, which took 2-3 hours to prepare. The email ended with this statement, "After you reply to this email with your video, we'll schedule an interview." I didn't hear back for another 3 weeks and when I did I got a generic rejection email.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
For the next step in the interview process, we ask that you do a little role-playing. Make a loom video (no more than 5 minutes) where you demo some feature in one of your favorite software programs (Gmail, Asana, anything). Heck, feel free to even talk about why we should bring back Windows 92 Clippy. :)

Interview
Got an email saying that I would be a good fit for their team. Next step is you get asked to record a "little role-playing" presentation over loom. You have to present a hypothetical project, record it and then send it to them.
