Question 1
This one was asked 4-5 times: We have a particular way of working for PMs here where they are central to everything and expected to operate extremely fast and efficiently. How do you feel about this?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at TryHackMe (London, England) in Aug 2024
Interview
I made it to phase II of the interview process, with the VP of Product, and even if they did make a decision that I was not a good fit for the role I just got ghosted. Nobody ever followed up with any info that I was not a good fit.
We’re really sorry to hear you didn’t receive proper follow-up after progressing in the process.
At the time, we didn’t have a dedicated talent acquisition function in place and unfortunately that impacted our ability to deliver the experience candidates deserve. Since then, we’ve expanded our team to ensure we have the capacity and structure to communicate clearly at every stage and give every candidate the respect and transparency they’re owed.
We appreciate the time you invested and wish you all the best in your next opportunity.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at TryHackMe
Interview
The first round was a casual interview with the founders. The second round involved a take-home assignment and presentation to the founders, which involved producing ideas to improve the growth of the business. Heard nothing for over two weeks and then a rejection with no feedback on the reasons. I find this incredibly unprofessional, especially if candidates take time to produce work for the company's potential benefit.
