I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TuSimple (Phoenix, AZ) in June 2021
Interview
The interview process has been great! Everybody I have interviewed with have been amazing and very knowledgeable about the company and the position. Their attitudes and energy definitely exhibit happy employees.
I applied online. I interviewed at TuSimple (Phoenix, AZ) in Apr 2021
Interview
I had a screen with the head of talent who I found to be aggressive. He mostly focused on the large volume of roles you'd be recruiting for, in high pressure situations, for sub-industry pay. I did not get asked for a follow up interview. Though, I did not feel like I was receptive to his energy and did not want to proceed if asked for a future interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were minimal questions to me. Mostly the conversation focused on req load, verticals in company, and ability to handle pressure situations with top talent.
Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that we didn't click on your interview. I'm always hoping to give an honest picture of the role with my energy, but I will certainly reflect on your comments. I'm deeply sorry if I came off negatively or didn't match your taste. I wish you all the best in your future interviews.

Interview
Initial phone screen with the HM, one hour zoom with 2 members of the recruiting team, one hour video with 2 more members, 45 min video another recruiting team member, phone call with the HM again, a zoom with another stakeholder... all over a span of 3-4 weeks....
The best part is they started the whole process saying they like to move quickly. And then after constant communication scheduling the “last minute” zoom sessions.. all mentioning that they need to refine the Hiring process... no word. After about 5 days I followed up again and was sent a one line rejection email.
