I applied through other source. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Turner and Townsend (London, England) in Oct 2015
Interview
i applied online via Indeed. 1st stage was a telephone interview, was very smooth and straight forward, wanted to know more about me and my skills and past experience.
2nd stage was a face to face interview: this took place at there Charing cross office in London. The interview was 1 hour, very detailed, went through my CV, and asked the basic questions, why do you want to work here? what do you know about the role and company? why should we hire you? what would you bring to the team? The interview was very good and went well, we spoke about different role within the company and development within Turner and Townsend. she invited me to the next round which was final stage which was meant to take place 2 weeks after my face to face.
waited 2 weeks, heard nothing! contacted the HR recruiter a few time via phone and email but she kept pushing me off! after 1 month of waiting for some sort of feedback, i got fed up and sent them a email about the lack of common courtesy and how unprofessional they were. one month after my interview they didn't have the common courtesy to call or even email. i had to do all the chasing, am glad it didn't worked out because i would not want to work for a company that clearly disrespectful and lacks communication.

Interview
From the moment I arrived, the team was welcoming and professional. The interviewer asked thoughtful questions that allowed me to highlight my skills and experience, and the conversation felt more like a genuine dialogue than a typical Q&A session. I appreciated the clear explanation of the role, the company culture, and the next steps in the hiring process. Overall, I left the interview feeling respected, confident, and excited about the opportunity to join the team.
