      Senior UX Designer Interview

      21 Jan 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Turo in Jan 2017

      Interview

The recruiter was friendly. I was asked to do a design challenge. You would think there would be some constructive feedback for spending a lot of hours on it but there was no feedback at all, just an automated email saying they are passing on me. Stay away from design challenges you have to do on your own time. They are a farce and a major waste of time. I learned my lesson the hard way. Don't do it!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Design Challenge: Part 1: Design an alarm clock with just 3 buttons and describe the interactions to set time, change time, set an alarm, modify and alarm, delete an alarm. Part 2: Design a page from the instructions manual without using words. You can only describe instructions visually.
