I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Turo (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
I was contacted by the HR and given a take home case study problem. The requirements are vague and the questions are pretty open ended. Honestly there is nothing much to play with the data. After I sent back the results, I got rejection the next morning. No explanation whatsoever. I would rather get rejected on the phone rather than wasting time on the case study.

Interview
The first round of interview was with HM to walk through the resume. Passed it and got a take home assignment. The take home is not difficult. Got the next round which is the take home presentation.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Go through a project involving data manipulation and modeling
It was a 45-minute interview, and overall it went very smoothly. Most of the discussion was centered around the project I had worked on before, so I had a good opportunity to explain my role, the technical challenges, and the solutions I implemented. The interviewer mainly focused on the technical aspects of the project, asking in-depth questions about the architecture, design decisions, and the technologies I used.
There were no coding questions during the interview, which made it feel more like a technical discussion rather than a problem-solving round. The conversation was quite interactive and comfortable, and I felt that I was able to explain my experience clearly. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Interview
The overall experience are positive. I skipped the HR call so the first round is with ds manager to talk about a past project. Then I was given with a case study project and the interviewer will dive deep into your code and presentation during second round interview. The final round was 3*45mins back to back, which will test your coding skills, statistics knowledge and business sense.
