Was told that I finished second for the job and that they remained interested in me in the future. When same position came open six months later, I reached out to the recruiter and hiring manager, who ghosted me. Not the right way to treat a candidate you told you were still interested in.

Interview
The interview process was incredibly pleasant. I was referred in by a current employee. He and I chatted a bit to discuss my background as well as the company culture in depth. He then passed me on to a recruiter. Spoke with the recruiter who was responsible for an incredible % of the hires in the last year. This gentleman made the whole process enjoyable- was quick in his responses and reassurances through the entire situation start to finish (1 month from initial screen to start date). I then interviewed with one of the managers on the phone, and was invited in for an on-site interview with an executive, two managers, and one business development rep. My favorite part of the entire process? Everyone genuinely enjoys being an employee of Twilio and is excited about the company and its culture.
