Technical but friendly environment, where the Professor's make you feel comfortable while they ask you challenging questions. The position was for statistical analysis using publicly available datasets to prepare for journal publication.

Regression/econometrics based questions to see if the applicant is fit to carry out statistical inference.
The interview was online proctored through zoom. There were 2 people online who were listening to my answers. I was given the opportunity to ask questions and comments towards the end.

Tell me about yourself and why you chose to apply for this position.
I submitted an application to the research lab of interest then received an email to schedule an interview. The process was one interview with the Ph. D. candidate for the position. Received email about confirmation and start date
The process is very interesting and it gives you the opportunity to showcase how you can create value. I really enjoyed it. The hiring manager will ask you questions related to your resume and then you will have the chance to speak with a researcher. They are all very polite and nice.
