I applied online. I interviewed at UK Civil Aviation Authority (Gatwick, England) in June 2026
Interview
Assessment Centre with 5 other candidates. Friendly welcome and introduction brief followed by a short Group Exercise. Then a 45 minute individual written task with a role-played feedback session afterwards. Competency based style interview, 'tell us about a time when...' etc with answers using the STAR model. Other candidates seemed to struggle with the written task but I found it okay - for that reason I've given it a 'Difficult' rating. Overall, it seemed fair and I enjoyed the experience.

Question 1
All fairly standard stuff, nothing too difficult to answers as long as you've done just a little bit of prep. For example, "Tell us about a time you faced a challenge and how you overcame it."
