Written test + competency-based interview followed by the references in form of questionnaires delivered to the persons provided by the candidate. The process was more or less smooth, however the employer did not keep the promised date to inform on their decision. Generally, it all looked like the pure formality to satisfy the compliance requirements while the internal candidate had been already selected.
