After submitting the online application I received an initial email from the hr requesting for a 30-minute telephone interview. Basic questions like why U.S. Fund for UNICEF and previous experiences were asked. Got an onsite interview several days later with the program coordinator who introduced me the job position and requirement and asked about availability.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UNICEF USA in Aug 2022
Interview
8/11- Applied online and was contacted the following day by the hiring manager to schedule a phone interview. I provided my availability, however, after 2 days without response from the hiring manager, I had to reconnect to check on the status. 8/16- Had interview the next day, which was uneventful. She stated she would be in touch in about a week or so to provide updates to the candidates she spoke with. After a month, I realized the position was no longer posted on the organization website and emailed the HM for an update, it took her 3 days for her to reply with a handful of words - "the position has been filled." Obviously, I knew the position had been filled, but I just wanted to confirm that UNICEF collects millions of donor dollars each year while supporting subpar management processes.
