      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Marine Corps in Nov 2009

      Interview

Sat down with a recruiter and told him I wanted to join. I was drug tested and had a thorough background check for a security clearance multiple times. I filled out tons of paperwork and began physical training prior to acceptance. I took several job skills and knowledge tests. He sent my paperwork up to higher headquarters, I signed the oath, and then I went to boot camp.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at US Marine Corps

      Interview

Twelve questions on a panel of three people. Lots of questions were geared towards general experience (academic and professional) rather than just professional. As a recent graduate, I felt like I had a real shot at earning the position. Interviewers were very responsive as well.

      Question 1

What is the difference between intelligence and information?

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at US Marine Corps

      Interview

See a recruiter. Don't be overweight. Pass the ASVAB (basic highschool math, grammar. some mechanical, clerical, electronics skills). Pick a job. Pick a date. Go to boot camp. Honestly, if you don't have any felonies, graduated high school, aren't obese, can run, do pullups and situps, you can probably get in. We need good people so if you want the challenge, go for it.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What do you want out of the Corps? School? Challenge? See the world? Financial stability? When's the last time you smoked pot?
