Interview
There was no real interview process to speak of when I joined. As long as your were competent enough to pass the ASVAB and were willing to sacrifice your time to put up with a hassle of a medical examination you could get in. The current process I am not too aware of, but I know that acceptance has gotten more restricted.
Standardized testing (ASVAB) to gauge what job family you will be assigned to, character interview to determine criminal history if any, as well suitability and eligibility for a security clearance. Additionally, there is a drug screen, medical exam, background check, interviews of family, friends, and associates.

Met with recruiter on multiple occasions, underwent a background check, submitted school transcripts, test results and participated in physical evaluations. Once in the recruitment poolee program, attended monthly meetings and groups activities to prepare for recruit training.

Interview
No Interview at all. Walk into a recruiters office and speak to the recruiter. They take you through everything as you go through the process. Anyone can do it. Have to pass a few test.
