      6 Aug 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Marine Corps (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2011

      Interview

Well 1st off, there's no interview. You talk with a recruiter and if you meet the basic requirements your good. Off you go to bootcamp for 3 months and yes it's very hard but if fat kids can make it then you can make it. You may be dropped from your platoon and have to stay longer but you'll make it. Good luck

      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at US Marine Corps (Minot, ND) in May 2011

      Interview

I volunteered.I had to fill out more paperwork than buying a house. I was subjected to a full pysical and never ending tests of every kind. The Marine Corps only takes perfect physical specimins and contrary to popular belief they require you to be smart as well, having to pass every test they give you. It was was an exausting ordeal and quite the challenge. It was far more than any other job I applied and worked for. That is what the U.S. Marine Corps is all about. Not to denegrate th U.S. Army but there is now comparison. i also enjoyed my time in the Army.
