I applied online. I interviewed at US Patent and Trademark Office (Alexandria, VA) in Apr 2026
Interview
For the first round, I did an interview on HireVue first. I have not done a live interview yet. I recorded answers with 2 attempts for each question. Each response had to be under five minutes, and there was around a 10 second wait time from pressing the continue button and seeing the question for the first time. To my knowledge, there is no limit between waiting to answer the 2nd attempt and finishing the 1st attempt.

Question 1
"Give us a time where _____ happened and how you responded"
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at US Patent and Trademark Office (Oxnard, CA) in June 2026
Interview
I've only done the digital one, where I recorded myself, and it was fairly easy. You got chances to redo your recording, which was nice, and you had a minute before you read the question to prepare your answer. I found it to be intuitive.
