Postal Clerk/PSE Mail Processing Clerk Interview

      25 June 2018
      Anonymous employee
      San Diego, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at US Postal Service (San Diego, CA)

      Interview

You start of in a group setting where they will go over the standard information of the job and show you a video of the actual job so you have a visual of what is required.Next you will fill out paper work and review you paper work as well (I suggest have your phone #s and addresses saved to your phone, you will NOT have a signal). **You will be asked to write a few sentences on why you should be picked for the job (answer in apx 3-6 lines and write clearly! >You will be asked to explain if you have ever been fired or left a job that you would be fired from. Have all info with you. >You will sit with a screener for about 5 mins >You will sit and watch fill while you wait to be called >>>The interview in one on one and somewhat streamlined. you can expect maybe 10 Q&A at the most and a 10-30sec pitch on why you should be picked.
