Application
I applied online. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Bridgeport, CT) in Sept 2014
Interview
I took the postal exam on July 19th and passed. I received an email on September 2 for background and drug testing. 2 days later I received another email for an interview. The postmaster seemed very nice and laid back. She basically gave a rundown of the job description and requirements. I filled out a few paperwork watched a 5 min video and that was it. I was told I would receive a email within the next 5 days with a conditional offer and tons of forms to fill out and I did. I then met with the same postmaster, filled out and signed mass amount of paperwork. A week later I met with the supervisor to submit additional documents showing proof of citizenship and was in turn given my official hire letter with training and orientation start date.
