It was very strange. I had the interview the first day and as soon as I got home I received a phone call telling me USPS full-time employee lead wanted to hire me onto their team. I was surprised it was that quick. I was hesitant and chose to take it anyway as postal jobs are considered stable. However, I should have gone with my gut and said “No”. Anytime you receive a phone call to get hired that quick something seems wrong. It should take roughly a few days or 1-2 weeks at best to get a job offer. The USPS full-time employee only wanted to hire me because I knew Linux.
