I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Naples, FL) in Jan 2016
Interview
It was like a herd of cattle filling out forms and then there was a question and answer period after a current RCA gave his testimony on what he thought of the job! There was more concern over the drug test, background check, and challenges of the position. Otherwise, they just wanted to make sure you could handle the demands physically and mentally. Also, that you were pretty much on call on your days off for quite some time as a PT carrier filling in for the regular carriers to get time off
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Only one was, after listening to an former employee give personal testimony on how he never saw his family and worked 60 plus hours, did you still want the job?
I never had an interview I went to get my fingerprints done and they informed me that someone would get back to me to schedule me for academy. Academy lasted one week and was largely useless.

Interview
The interview was very short, not really much of an interview at all, actually. Moreso just to check if I had a pulse and was breathing. I could tell it was just to get a body in the room.

Interview
It was an easy one on one interview. Asked basic questions. Will use scare tactics on you during interview. Post Master was really nice but i felt like it was just a facade. All in all, it was a very very good experience.
