I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UW Medicine in Jan 2018
Interview
It was odd getting a phone interview with the Director. The Manager seemed to have little to do with any of the process. The in person interview were superficial questions and most of the Directors questions seemed aimed at finding someone who matched who he personally wanted, not whether I was qualified or a good fit. I got the feeling it was all very political. I feel like they casually wasted my time with a 2nd interview. Which was almost identical to the first. But I’m happy in retrospect to not have been chosen. There are way better Medical Centers With better pay and less RIDICULOUS political self serving waste of time like what I saw at UW Medicine IT.

Question 1
Simple sort of thoughtless questions. So little effort put into interview questions
Very professional, personable, intuitive. First was a zoom call with the Manager. Then the second interview was with the team/panel of future colleagues. Then request for references in which they called and emailed. Lastly, the Manager will call with the offer.
