They described this role as being entry level, so keep that in mind. I had 3 interviews, each with the hiring manager and team supervisor. The hiring manager was relatively new - was in this role for about a year they mentioned. The supervisor was in their role for over 15 years. The hiring manager asked typical question about my experience and how I would handle different scenarios. The one thing the did ask is if I could research their mainframes and other tools they use to be ready for further questions if I got selected for another round in the process. I did learn about their mainframes and tools and answered their questions about them. Got to the 3rd round and they ask me, what I feel like are more advanced questions, without any heads up. Again this is labeled as a entry level role where someone with 0-2 years of experience is fine. They even mention that these questions really don't pertains to the role so why even bother asking them? I don't know but the 3rd interview was weird and honestly did need to have one. At the end they said they would have a decision by the end of the day or the next day, and neither of those happened. Seems like a reoccurring thing where you interview with companies and they never keep their word and act on things when they say they will.
