I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Income (Washington, DC) in Oct 2019
Interview
Got a phone screen to which interviewer was late and then had to jump on another call. The compensation was lower than what the title suggested. The interviewer said that the new hire would be "sitting near" (their words) the CEO and the CEO was widely published, so compensation was in the "form of learning."
I went in person and was interviewed by the phone interviewer and one of their colleagues. The interview was OK, though the colleague seemed to lose interest after a bit. They never let me know one way or the other afterwards, which is unprofessional and gave an overall impression of disorganization in their operation. That's OK though, I prefer tangible compensation to basking in the reflected glow of a genius.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Income (Washington, DC) in June 2016
Interview
The first step of the interview was an introduction to the company and the work environment. I was able to meet some of the team members during a tour of the office space. I was offered refreshments and quickly put at ease. Then I spoke with a few VPs individually to answer questions and walk through a portfolio of work.
