I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Nations Foundation in Sept 2019
Interview
Applied online and had a phone interview a week later. The person interviewing me seemed rushed and told me I’d hear back in a week. A month later and I never heard a word! If you’re going to take candidates time for an interview, do them the courtesy of a rejection email. A place with such little respect for candidates time is likely not a good environment to work in.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at United Nations Foundation (Washington, DC) in Feb 2012
Interview
The hiring process was lengthy and involved about 6 rounds of interviews, including the ones with HR by phone. The cultural fit to the organization is what mattered a great deal and each in-person interview involved at least 2-3 people. From application to offer was over 2 months long. Staff were very passionate about the work and org mission. Seemed like a great place to work right off the bat.

They asked about specific experience for the work to be done. Also asked how I would do in a hierarchical, fast-paced environment.
