I applied online. I interviewed at United Trust Bank
Interview
I had a 1st stage interview online and a 2nd stage interview in person with the manager and director and also HR. I spent 3 hours in total for the 2nd stage interview (2 hours commuting and 1 hour for the actual interview) and they didn't even bother sending a rejection email. I have been rejected a lot of times and I am fine with it as I do understand that it is part of the recruitment process, but not even sending a generic rejection email to people is not just disappointing, but actually unprofessional
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at United Trust Bank (London, England) in June 2024
Interview
There were 2 stages to the interview process, Teams call then a face to face Interview both lasting about 40 minutes each. It was a good experience overall. The stages ran smoothly.

Interview
I was recently offered a job at United Trust Bank as an I.T Support Engineer. They were offering a salary of £30k where they also expected 2nd line and desktop support duties to be carried out. I tried to negotiate the salary with HR for a slightly higher salary. Upon doing so, I got an angry response from HR and then an email to say due to your inquiry for a higher salary, we are withdrawing the job offer. This is highly unprofessional as this should not be a valid reason to withdraw an offer and it shows that the company does not consider the employee's rights. They are also expecting an employee to carry out 2 roles in 1 at a low salary.
