I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Calgary, AB) in June 2021
Interview
Unity has an excellent interview process. They are genuine, intelligent, humble, kind, and reassuring. The questions cover a large number of the software fundamentals and can easily lead into more complex topics to allow you to show off your own understanding. There is plenty of room to allow you to as much of show yourself as you want, as well as to learn as much about Unity as you wish. They actively assess your skills during the interview and try to ensure they find the best possible fit for you in the company. Communication before and after interviews was top notch and I always felt that I knew my standing in the interview process without any prompting. Any questions I had outside of an interview would be quickly answered.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Lots of technical questions regarding programming fundamentals and a few regarding the Unity Engine. Ex. Explain the difference between a hash table and an array and where and why you would use each one. There was also a programming test with a time limit of 3 hours. Each interview had a few cultural fit questions as well.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Unity (Copenhagen, Capital Region)
Interview
Did 2 stages. First and very pleasant with the recruiter, second with the tech manager. They changed the manager from DK to US team in the middle of the process and it was confusing. I had to do round 2 twice
