I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Universal Studios (Universal City, CA) in July 2009
Interview
I received an initial call from an HR manager. Just general questions were asked about my career so far. I received a second call from another HR manager with additional questions. At the end of the call I was asked if I would be willing to meet with the Director of HR and two of the three people I would be working for.
I went in to Universal and spoke with HR. I was asked some very basic professional and background questions and a few questions about my personality. After that interview I was taken to the offices where I met with the EVP and a Director of Marketing. We spoke about the position, my background, what my personal interests were etc. The interview process was great and I truly feel that all involved were just making sure I'd be a good fit for the organization.
The second Director later called me just to follow up, ask a few questions and that he was sorry he couldn't make the original meeting.
After that call within a few hours I received an offer from Universal.
