I initially applied to UTC for a junior sensors position. When I attended the interview they stated they were searching for someone with multi-threading/CUDA experience; which wasn't specified in the job posting online. I didn't have this experience personally. I took nearly two weeks for them to send a response for my online application. They apologized for the delay, I've never personally waited that long for a response on an application.
The interview by itself is doable and not too technical. They are mostly interested in past projects and experience with other jobs. They then use the rest of the time explaining the ongoing projects they are working on.
Another person I know was given an offer for the same exact position there. They had the same exact experience as me. However, he declined the offer by the way one of the people treated him during the interview. I did not personally have a rough interview but it may be because I had different people attending mine.
I liked the people during the interview, but it seems they are all unorganized. Seems they don't correlate things correctly between their HR and actual developers, so I advise asking HR what they plan to go over before attending the interview.
