Disappointing application process despite promising start
I applied to UKER and travelled from another country for an interview, feeling quite confident after receiving positive feedback during the interview. I was assured that I would be contacted within two weeks to discuss the next steps. Unfortunately, despite following up twice in the last 2.5 months, I have received no update regarding my application.
While UKER has an impressive careers website and the interview itself went well, the overall application process was a major disappointment. A more timely and transparent communication process would have been appreciated, especially after the effort involved in travelling for the interview.
I hope the UKER improves its recruitment process to provide clearer updates and a more respectful experience for candidates.
