Interview
Friendly, chatty Skype interview. Very informal, seemed
Like a chance to know the group and supervisor, whilst also getting to know more about the project too. Had to explain my knowledge of the subject, their research and other academic quesrions
I applied online. I interviewed at University of Bath
Interview
Individual interview asking questions about why I wanted to undertake a PhD in sustainable transport. Limited technical questions, mostly about motivations and objectives for the studies. Overall very friendly and a positive experience. Department of Mechanical Engineering.
I interviewed at University of Bath (Bath, England)
Interview
Presented proposed research in a powerpoint to a panel consisting of two university supervisors and one funding source representative. Received feedback, and the decision was communicated the following day. I was also asked about my timeline of completing this research and what my ideal research scenario would look like
Very friendly interview. I was made to feel comfortable and treated like an equal. The interview was a good mix of technical and pastoral questions. Would recommend interviewing at the University of Bath.
