Application
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at University of Cambridge (Cambridge, Gloucestershire, South West England, England) in Nov 2009
Interview
First I had a phone interview and then was flown in to give a presentation and have an in-person interview. They paid for the flight and arranged an accommodation for me during my stay.
Two interviewers. Asked about previous projects, and what made you apply for this position. There are also behavioural questions such as how you manage workload, how to deal with conflicts between people etc.

I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at University of Cambridge (Cambridge, England) in June 2024
Interview
Very good process. Quick and straightforward.
They disclosed the questions before the interview, stating that each candidate was asked the same questions. The panel interviewers were very professional and polite. They gave enough time for engaging in every question.

Interview
Short (30 minutes) but with lots of technical questions. You will be fine as long as you are prepared. There are chances to ask questions on the type of research that you will be conducting.
