I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at University of Cambridge (Cambridge, England) in Apr 2018
Interview
Fair process, was asked about previous relevant experience, no trick personality questions. I was asked relevant questions about how i would solve problems encountered normally during the job and what tools i would use and whether i was familiar with the latest advancements in the field.

Question 1
Where do you see yourself in 10 years in your academic career and what are two essential things that will take you there
Got an interview invitation a week after the job ad deadline. The interview was scheduled for the next day after I received the invitation because it was a short-term temporary role, and they needed to use the funding by a certain deadline. The interview went well: there were two interviewers, and they asked both technical and communication-focused questions. Afterwards, I received an email asking about my visa status and whether I could provide an additional referee. I then received an official offer a week after the interview.

Interview
Submitting the application, getting shortlisted, and having one interview before receiving the offer. The interview lasts for approx 1h, and this includes 15-20 presentations of previous experiences, how to contribute to new project, teaching/supervision experiences

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at University of Cambridge (Cambridge, England)
Interview
I applied online. Heard back from the professor directly, scheduled an informal meeting, more to elaborate on the open project and to understand if my background and interests align. After that we scheduled a more extensive interview, work presentation slot and meeting-with-the-lab sessions. Enjoyed every bit of the process. Good discussions with the prof and lab. But I didn't get the offer, was informed over email after 1.5 weeks. However, I really appreciated that the prof also provided me with feedback in the email.
